Christopher Shepperd began his career in woodworking 25 years ago in New England as an apprentice, learning the art of woodworking, craftsmanship, precision and integrity in the fine Furniture and Cabinetry Shops of the Eastern Seaboard.

He moved to the West coast in 1987 and began working for several well known Cabinetry Shops in the Bay area, including Marnell Mill & Cabinet of San Rafael. He also worked in the Union Shops of San Francisco where he built projects for Urban Outfitters, Smith & Hawkin, Gumps Department Store, and the Disney Store in Union Square, as well as a host of discriminating home owners and businesses in Marin and Sonoma Counties and throughout the Peninsula area.

As he became sought after by an increasing number of individual clients, Christopher discovered a yearning to practice his art on his own. Seeing a way to bridge the gap between large production shops while still delivering the quality, precision, attention to detail, and customer service that a small shop can offer, he seized the opportunity to open Christopher Shepperd Cabinetry, a full service Cabinetry Shop since 1998.

His pride of workmanship, dedication and love of his craft are apparent in every piece of work that he creates.
